Is psychology and nursing worth double majoring in?

Alright, I am thinking of double majoring in psychology and nursing. I absolutely love psychology and nursing. I am minoring in psychology but I want to know if it is worth taking a few classes during the summer to finish up that degree. I want to be a psychiatric nurse when I graduate. Would a degree in psychology help that job aspect? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
