Is psychology a good career in the UK?

Im thinking of studying psychology in university as i am really interested in it, but i was wondering what the job market and pay is like in the UK. How much do you tend to earn in a year in different aspects of psychology? Especially in neuropsychology? Is it difficult to get a job in psychology? Which job has a good pay or is most available?
