A career in Forensic Psychology UK?

Can I study nursing in the UK, get a masters in the US and work there?

  • I am currently a psychology student in the UK but really want to pursue a career in nursing. I would like to eventually become a US nurse. I have read a lot about becoming a nurse in the US and it does not look like an easy thing to do. Does anyone know if it is possible for me to complete a 2 year diploma in nursing in the UK then complete a masters in nursing in the US. Would that be a good way of getting enough hours to get licensed in the US? Plus I could still work in the UK with my degree from here. I appreciate any help, thanks.

  • Answer:

You need a four year Bachelor degree to go on to Grad school in the US. You would be here on a student visa, once school is over you would be required to leave the US. Check out U S News /education / Grad schools And www.a2zcolleges.com

The trouble would be as well that US nurses are generalist trained, not specialist trained. You would need a BSN,as proviously noted.
