Are Bayliners good boats?

i heard that bayliners are good boats for lakes but not blue water. the type of boat i'd like is a twin engine cabin crusier.

I know they wouldnt be fast with out a 200 horse motor on it, but some boats that want to be fast dream about going 60 + (like bayliners and those kind) is it the hull? are they lighter? it almost seems like they fly instead of float, lol. BTW the bass...

are they good boats that will hold up for a long time or are they junk. i noticed that nobody sells used ones is that because they have alot of problems or are they too good to get rid of?
