How can I keep these websites from popping up on my computer?

I clicked on the icon that unfamiliar on my folder, after that my it just keep installing something. I tried to stopped it but it just keep going and going untill the program installed. Then this program keep popping and scanning my computer for error...

When I am online, websites keep popping up without my searching for them. I'll be on a site and then all of a sudden these unsolicited websites pop up on my screen. Is there any way to block these sites or prevent them from popping up?

Okay so it all started yesterday when i was on myspace and i try upload pictures so it said to Download X-Active thing and i Accidentally hit it and so this thing pop up and ask me if i wanted to download it or not i said not and so i close that website...
