Do I have a 32 bit or a 64 bit CPU?

If it is a 64 bit prossessor will this mean I haft to run a 64 bit OS or can I run a 32 bit OS with the Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 2.10GHz?

Lets see, I have x86, x86/x64 processor and what i cant understand is what type of CPU is it 32 or 64 bit ? What does it mean 64 bit ? Does it mean it can work with 64 bit data at a certain time ?

I just built my first computer with this processor - Intel Core i7-960 (BX80601960). The only problem is I have a 32-bit and a 64-bit windows disc. Im just not sure which one to use. So im wondering basically, how can I tell what a cpu is future reference...
