Is this cpu 32 bit or 64 bit?

Go to the windows button in right corner, right click on computer. and itl tell u

Right click on your desktop, then go to Settings, and you can find if it's 32 or 64 bit.

Click on "Start", then click on "Run", then type "dxdiag" then enter. This will give you a detailed look at everything in your system. Or download "PC Wizard" http://www.cpuid.com/download/pcw2008_v1871.exe It's a very good (and free) program to find out what kind of CPU you have & what it's capable of.

if it came with vista 32 it is only a 32 bit intel chips are not actually a true 64 bit processor there is no real 64bit programs on the market to run although AMD ATHLON 64's are true 64bit processors but there is still no 64 bit Program to run so it is kinda a waste but it is a cool thing to have once there is a true 64 bit Program to run.

Its perhaps a 32 bit... Moroever view system information on your pc...

have you tried running the computer on both? mine is a 32. do you have vista because usually vista runs on 64 bit
