I have a Toshiba P105 S6177 laptop with a Intel T2250 CPU. is this a 32 or 64 bit computer?

it is both... can handle any of the 32bit or 64bit os's. it does not have virtualization tech, so you can't run 64bit os's in virtual machines on it.

Intel 64 (Intel's x86-64 implementation) is not supported by Yonah. However, Intel 64 support is integrated in Yonah's successor, the mobile version of Core 2, code-named Merom. You have the Yonah implementation. You probably can't support 64bit processes.
The T2250 is a 32-bit CPU, sorry. 64-bit extensions were added in the Core 2 architecture and this is a Core.
It depends which version of the operating system you are running on the laptop - it could be either. To check, open your start menu, click on control panel, then double click system to view the configuration that you have. The system type is halfway down.
