Is there a way to tell if my CPU is 64 bit or 32 bit I need to know?

Pretty much all processors made in the last 4 years or so are 64-bit. It would be easiest if you told me exactly what the processor is. To find out, go to Start-Right Click My Computer-Properties-Look at the bottom. Me and the guy below replied at the same second. Yes, that processor is 64 Bit.

if its a new PC then obviously its 64 bit....to find it out just right click on my computer->property usually it depends on OS too.....i think its clearly written in BIOS. also theres several sites which can help you to find out more information about your computer. some are online based and some are you have to install their product. try google to find out that kind of online help. good luck EmOn

on your keyboard hold in the windows key and then while holding the key down press the pause/break key it will show all of your system info...

Depending on which version of Windows you are running, go to Device Manager - Click the plus sign next to processors and right click on the processor and select properties. On the details tab, it might read like this ACPI\GENUINEINTEL_-_X86_FAMILY_6_MODEL_1… Since this has a section that says X86, it means that my pc's processor is an x86 not a 64 bit.
