Can you use the Mexican consulate ID in Las Vegas?

Can i use my MEXICAN Consulate ID to get in the clubs and casinos in las vegas?? Has some one gone and used it .. (i have my passport bt it expired all i have is the MEXICAN Consulate ID ) thnx you!
