Can you use the Mexican consulate ID in Las Vegas?

Can I use my fake ID to check in to a Las Vegas hotel like The Bellagio?

  • I am 18, but I am planning to go to Las Vegas with my friends, and we are planning to stay at The Bellagio, I have a 21 fake ID with all my info, including my own name, that matches my own credit card. Would this work?? Do they do a background check when you check in?? Would they find out I'm only 18?? Please help! :)

    They don't do a background check, but they do closely check ID, especially with people who appear young. They are good at catching the fakes. Fake ID's are a big deal in Vegas - it won't be a simple matter of being denied a room. The police will be called for sure. You'd be better off choosing a hotel that ALLOWS you to check in at 18 - MGM, Luxor, and Riviera are all hotels on the strip where you could check in at 18.

Mabye a jail cell is waiting for you! Why tempt that fate? Fake id gets you into a lot of trouble! Plus they put big holds down on your credit card, like up to $500 or more, in case you damage the room or order in room service. I say you have not grown up yet. Your still a child! Faking stuff out!

IF you find out the entire group will be asked to leave the hotel. There is no background check. Let someone else sign for the room/charge. But you cannot go into the clubs, gaming or bars and if you do they could call the police

im not sure why u would want to do this, i mean if u won say a $1,000,000 bucks yes u would be caught and u wouldn't be able to keep it. On the other hand it is Vegas so u can try it just for fun. :-) Good luck.
