Can you use the Mexican consulate ID in Las Vegas?

Would it be fine to use a friend's id in Las vegas?

  • I'm 20 years old, but I plan to go to Vegas in a couple of weeks and my friends want to go to nightclubs there. Would it be safe if I used a friend's valid driver's license (expired) or are the penalties similar to using a fake id if i get caught? What is the worst that can happen if i get caught in Vegas? Btw: i don't plan to drink or gamble, I just want to go inside the clubs.

The worst that can happen is you can be arrested. Also, an expired drivers license is not considered valid. It won't work.
