Should schools have stricter dress codes?

Well I'm a 14 year old girl so you can probably guess what my answer to this is. No uniforms. I don't mind a strict dress code since there's a lot of slutty girls in mini skirts and guys with pants down to their knees, but where do you draw the line...

to me my dress code is stupid. I don't mean wearing uniforms, at my school you can wear anything that fits into a certain dress code. But it's ridiculous. The boys don't have a dress code, just the girls. We can't show our shoulders, we can't wear leggings...
