    Yes, dress code is an excellent idea. I myself would not know, I've worn a uniform to school all my life, but dress codes establish a sense of appropriateness. By setting limits, students are more presentable to their peers, teachers, and visitors to their school. Now, uniforms are used to make each student feel equal to the other, but dress codes are different. They keep students appropriate and presentable, and often times less vain about how they will look. Dress codes will never disappear, which they shouldn't.

It is a good idea it gives kids structure which they need.

Considering what some parents let their children wear these days, I think the school as to step up and teach children what is appropriate. Children should not be allowed to wear clothing that exposes too much or is offensive to most people.

I think its a good idea, because kids wont compete with each other and kids wont make fun of each others clothes. That teaches them respect.
