Can you change from a standard headset to a integrated headset?

I want to buy new forks but the forks i want get have to have an integrated headset. I still have my stock frame and it came with regular bearings so i want to know if the integrated headset will work with my frame so i dont have to buy a new one.

i have a cane creek S1 headset with traditional cups and ball bearings on it now. can i use an integrated headset with sealed cartridge bearings? (where the bearings go inside the head tube)
