Can you change from a standard headset to a integrated headset?

Will an Integrated headset on a new bmx frame go with standard forks?

  • Standard forks, headset, and frame right now, i need a longer frame so im upgrading it. The frame im going to get has an integrated headset, and the forks are standard. Im buying a new headset with the frame also, will the forks still fit or do i need new forks for an integrated headset? Frame i will probably buy is a haro zebra, and the headset will be an odyssey integrated headset. If i do need the forks to upgrade everything, ill probably get eclat stream forks. Will everything fit alright?

    Just be sure to put the lower race that comes with the headset on the forks. Then it should work. BTW, that frame sucks. Save up and get a Haro SD. They're one of the best all around frames. @Fellow American: If it won't work, then why did I run Odyssey Classic Dirt forks with my Sunday Forecaster frame? Integrated forks work only with integrated headsets, but regular forks work with standard and integrated headsets. You just need to press on the lower race.

it wont work with the standard forks unless u do a lot of modifying and it can tell you it wont last, get better forks and u will have less to worry about
