Are Porsche 944's good, reliable cars?

I was thinkin about getting one. Preferably the turbo and i was just wondering what the problems are with them most commonly and if they are good reliable cars for a 17 year old

its a 1987 porsche 944s. looking at the front of the car, the right rubber insert on the bumper is flared out and rusted on the inside, any idea where to buy another insert?
