Are Porsche 944's good, reliable cars?

Porsche 944, 944s, or 944 turbo? Good Cars?

  • I was thinkin about getting one. Preferably the turbo and i was just wondering what the problems are with them most commonly and if they are good reliable cars for a 17 year old

They are very reliable normally, however if the milege is over 150k you might want to check if the turbo has ever been replaced, otherwise you should spend a couple hundred dollars to replace it.

no they're not reliable. any car that's 20 yrs old isn't reliable. Plus the parts cost a fortune. Maybe if you have another car and the 944 is going to be for weekends and stuff, then I guess u could get it. but if it's gonna be your everyday car, then I wouldn't recommend it unless u have tons of money to spend on it.
