"Always show these friends" does not save on facebook?

Barbara and Trine always show up repeatedly in my Top News although I never like or comment on their posts or view their profiles, how come?

I've come to the conclusion that yeah it takes the people you do the most interacting with nd that it doesn't put the people whose profile that you look most at either. BUT there is a guy that I was messaging on and off on facebook due to living 12 hrs...
