The other answers will work,but here's another one that I find much simpler. Grab the corner of your browser and make it small enough/move it so that your desktop shows. Then click and drag the picture to your desktop. And that's it.It's saved. From there you can move it to your pictures folder or wherever else you want to save it.

You can do a screen print which saves the image as a PDF document http://osxdaily.com/2010/05/13/print-screen-mac/ Command-Shift-4 will allow you to select an area of the screen.

CMD+Shift+4 and drag the box around the post. It will save an image of it to your desktop.

Take an internal picture, meaning whatever you see on your screen you can take a picture of. If you want the whole screen use: command + shift+ 3 if you want a specific selection, use: command + shift + 4 and then your mouse will turn into a cross like thing and you can drag and it will take a snap shot. The shots will save on your desktop. Hope that helped!!

1. right click on picture. 2. click "Save Image As...". 3. Save As: give it a name. 4. Where: desktop. Now when you exit out of your browser to you home screen (desktop) you can click on the image when you want to see it.
