Why doesn't my logitech remote work?

i have tried to make it work but it doesnt work, it cud be faulty but before i take it back i wanted to see if anyone know how i cud possibly make it work, its a cam with intergrated micro , the camera works , just not the microfone

well i got my g19 today and i installed it and everything but no matter what i try the backlight to the keyboard doesnt work, the lcd and lcd buttons work so does the M1-M3 and MR buttons light up but nothing else and i really wanted this feature

settings it says it works and in the audo wizard when i talk it say it can hear me but in yahoo the mic doesnt work

i have a logitech webcam thingy. it has this little cd thingy that you use to install and i did. and i was talking to my friend on yahoo messenger and i heard and saw her but she couldnt hear or see me. what can i do to fix this? whats up with this?...
