Why doesn't my logitech remote work?

Logitech quickcam doesnt work?

• i have a logitech webcam thingy. it has this little cd thingy that you use to install and i did. and i was talking to my friend on yahoo messenger and i heard and saw her but she couldnt hear or see me. what can i do to fix this? whats up with this? and its plugged in!

  Of all the chat sites, Yahoo webcam setup is the most painful. If you have a Logitech you have your own toolbar with it for the initial settings and the cool special effects. Set up your webcam as below - you can skip the Yahoo Spec and start with the Connection setting. Come back to Spec if you have a problem - You do not say what model of webcam you have or if it has its own mic. YAHOO SPECIFICATION To find out what the requirements are for messenger webcams, check out the following. http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/messenger/messenger9/webcam/mstacamreq.html Once you have your webcam working outside of Yahoo Messenger you have to configure it to messenger CONNECTION Open messenger - on top toolbar. Left click (>) messenger > preferences > connection - select 'no proxies' or 'connect direct to the internet' depending on the version of messenger you have make sure your internet connection and country are correct in bottom boxes > apply > ok TESTING > messenger > my webcam - warning panel will come on click 'ok' and your webcam will launch. DEFAULT With webcam still running > Messenger > Preferences > Webcam > Camera Source - set your webcam as default using dropbox. > Camera Settings - adjust settings to suit. > Apply > OK PERMISSION OPTIONS >messenger > preferences > webcam - make your selections about who you will allow to view you IN USE When you are both on line and wish to show your webcam > actions > 'invite to view my webcam' this will launch an invitation on your contacts screen when they 'accept' - they will see you ( can check status on bottom left of webcam panel there is a shortcut ( cam picture ) in toolbar and one down by your pic as well but these do not always work your contacts needs to configure their connection the same as above or they may get a "webcam not connected" message Any problems, feel free to contact me SOUND TEST Carry out the following tests to check your audio hardware is working with Messenger.
