Why does my computer have the wrong time?

Even when I set it ..it shows the wrong time when I turn it off then back on.

So, right now, it's really 9:50 at my house. My phone and alarm clock tell me that. However, my computer and satellite receiver tell me its 8:50. Why would they do that?
