Why do CD player lights dim?

The stock head unit dimmed when I turned on the lights, and according to the manual for the Pioneer, it is supposed to dim as well. So far as I can see, the only wire that is not hooked up in the harness is for a wired remote.

I had a kenwood cd player installed about 6 months ago It will not play cds, this problem started shortly after that. I also replaced the battery. any thoughts would be appreciated!

i actually have 2 questions. in my 1996 plymouth neon the car dash lights all of a sudden went out and same with my interior lights. Second question is my sony xplode cd player went out on me...at first i could turn it on and it would light up and now...

I have a 2001 Town and Country Van and the cd player is not working, lights flash on and off but it won't let the cd's come out. Is there anyway to get them out or get the cd player working?

The dome lights don't work not the key ring light as well a the cd player. I know the cd player is a different fuse than the others but if anyome knows the number or any ...show more

CD player worked fine until the body control module was changed. It is a 6 disc changer installed under the radio, which still works. I have read where others have experienced this problem after a computer change, but cannot find any info on remedy....

so, my radio recently stopped working, but the screen still lights up and says the time and tempurature, just no radio or cd player. then my battery died a couple days later. could that be why my radio doesnt work?
