What is the biggest key in the Florida Keys?

I am planning on flying into west palm beach Florida and then taking a motor cycle down to key west. is key west the best? also will I get to see all of the other islands on my way down to Key West ?

Like obviously Key West is the farthest but I was wondering what the closest one is? (For example... which one is closest to West Palm Beach?) Thanks!

My wife and 2 year old son are thinking of moving and trying a new place out for year or two. We are thinking of the keys b/c we want to stay in the U.S. We want somewhere fun and tropical, but not a huge party scene. Any suggestions?
