What is the biggest key in the Florida Keys?

What can you tell me about the Florida Keys? What to do? Where to go?

• We are thinking about taking a drive down through Miami(from Orlando) onto the Keys for around 3 nights. Probably at the beginning of March. I have been to Miami before and i wasnt impressed and we thought the food was dire compared to Orlando. So my plan is just to drive down and stop there for lunch maybe and a couple of hours walking around. Only thing is, whats the best thing to do in those 2 hours? Then onto the Keys, how long does it take to get to Key Largo from Miami? and how long is it to get to Key West From Key Largo? Main destination for us is Key West. Want to spend at least 1 night maybe 2 if its really good. My hubby likes to keep busy and cant sit on his backside on a beach etc. How long would it take us driving back from Key West to Orlando? Can it be done in one day without it being rushed etc and still enjoy the drive?

  Well Miami is an amazing city, I dont know when is the last time you went there but it is awesome, especially at night. But for two hours in Miami go to Miami Beach have food on Lincoln road or Washington Ave and walk around there a little bit. It nothing amazing during the day as Miami is a city that has to be seen at night. But Key Largo is about an 90minute drive from Miami. really if you dont like Miami just pass by it. Just take the Florida Turnpike from Orlando straight down to US-1 where you get on the two lane highway to the Keys. Key West Key largo takes around 2 hours or driving on some very nice scenic roads and nice little towns, of course the 7mile bridge is awesome. There is not much to do in Key largo, just fishing and diving. go straight to Key west and make a few stops on the way at some of the nice small islands. Key West is nice I am sure you will have a great time. Have a good trip! Drive safe.
