Does anyone know where i could find Educational Discounts on Prosumer Camcorders? Preferably bringing the cost below 2,000 Thanks

I want a good prosumer camcorder that has 24p (for that film look), but I want to have control over the depth of field as well, so I'm thinking an interchangeable lens could be important. Any suggestions?

I am not shooting drama, rather travel/hotel videos, and prefer the ease/speed of shooting directly to digital cards, instead of tape.
