Left speaker makes a crackling noise?

I have a n78 gateway laptop and for some reason there is static/crackling noise coming from the left speaker whenever it turned the volume up high today how can i fix this?

i tried with some logitech speakers and akg ear phones and there is always static noise even if the balance in full right the computer is a acer aspire m5811
