How to be an intelligence analyst?

I'm wondering how much an entry-level/Junior intelligence analyst will make if he works for a private government contractor company in Washington DC or Northern VA? Assuming the applicant just graduated from college with a Bachelor's and has the TS clearance...

I would love to become a Business intelligence administrator i.e. Hyperion, Cognos, SAP, Business Objects, etc. What do I needt to do to make the transition?
