Two pieces of advice: 1. Get an internship with a company that has lots of intelligence analysts and will clear you. This is the best way to get insight into what they actually do. 2. Don't do things that will prevent you from getting a clearance (e.g., use drugs, "interactions" with the police, financial irresponsibility)
