How do you take good myspace/facebook default pictures?

Fireworks takes long to open and I would like to change it from the default picture viewer to something that wont take as long like windows picture viewer.

Can someone with a canon powershot SD400 walk me through the steps I need to take to delete all the pictures on my SD card? Bonus Question: Is there something I can do to reset the camera to it's default settings? MY LCD Screen is broken so I can't see...

It just quit taking pictures in any of the "scene" modes along with everything else out of nowhere. It will work only in the motion and macro modes. I have tried to return all settings back to default and have charged the battery overnight.
