How do you post gifs on Tumblr?

On tumblr I want to post my gifs in a certain order after saying something but I don't know how. Do I put it under text or photo? How do I get it in that order?

I already know how to post them but every time I do they're in a box and you have to click it to see it. How do I get rid of that?

I try using html code but it doesn't work.

Whenever I post an animated gif on tumblr it gets resized. I don't mean when the file is too big and you get the grey box. It seems to be stretching them and cutting off the bottom each time? The gifs are under 500Kb, and are always less than 500px wide...
