How do you upload GIFs to tumblr?

i have been trying to upload gifs on tumblr forever! I know you have to use a link and i just dont know how to find a link for a gif to post it on my blog, please help...

Answer:
you do not need to use a link! save it to your computer and upload it as a picture, remember if the file size is bigger than 500k then your gif will only show as a picture or not upload at all! goodluck
