How do you post gifs on Tumblr?

Having issues with posting gifs on tumblr?

• So I make gifs and normally when I upload them to tumblr everything is all fine and dandy but recently I've been having issues. My gifs are all below 1M and they don't pass the maximum image size. I upload them via text post which is the most common way. I use the +Upload Photo, the gif is presented down below fully working but when I hit publish on the dashboard it's smaller then other gifs I see but you can still click on it to make it larger. On my actual tumblr page though it isn't centered. It's off to the left which makes it awkward considering everything is always centered. So I try upload via photo, use Choose File, the gif is now centered on my tumblr page(fully working) but on my dashboard it's the actual image size but you can't click on it...which is unusual. I haven't changed my theme in forever so that can't be effecting it. What is going on? I need it to be centered on my page but also clickable on my dashboard. I tried posting different ones and I get the exact same result. Just earlier I posted a gif successfully. Help?
