Does Hotmail still have automatic account closing?

I need help with closing my old account cause it isn't "professional" as the hotmail account i have now, and so i try closing it but it comes up with this "One or more paid services or a Microsoft Points account is linked to your account...

and i got another 1 for e.g. [email protected]?? if i close [ delete ] [email protected], does it delete [email protected]????

I will get several e-mails from them in the same day. They ask for password and other personal info (in an amateur-ish format, I might add; misspelled words, etc.). I just mark them as phishing scam and they're deleted. I really want to respond to them...

i have left my account alone for i dont know how long and it still has not been deleted. help!!

I closed my hotmail and it now says my email will be reserved for 270 days after closing the account. After that time, it may become available for other people to use. If people try to email it will it just fail and they will get a fail notification...

need to close my msn hotmail account fot it has been HACKED (sending spam to my contacts...), though need closing msn messenger account first, and that I am not managing to do... obs: i'm using msn messenger for mac
