Can i retrieve old attachments from my yahoo?

I would like to advance to the new look of Yahoo, but I do not know how to work the old way. Please help

I got a mail from my friend and while explaining the funda behind mailing to my 4yr old cousin the mail got deleted from 'trash' in yahoo. So how do i retrieve that mail with the attachments now?Am really clueless what to do now. i need those attachments...

Since Thursday evening, it's been a struggle to even sign on to yahoo! mail, thru "page not found" or "sorry for the inconvenience" messages. Then I've been lucky to retrieve a couple of small e-mails that don't have attachments....
