Is it possible to retrieve deleted emails from five to seven years ago?

Also is it possible to retrieve emails from past Yahoo accounts I've had that are no longer open? The reason is to retrieve photos that were sent as email attachments and later lost. Thanks

Answer:
When mail accounts get closed either by the owner or by Yahoo, all content within gets erased, and since Yahoo is a web based service, they don't keep backups of mails and/or attachments. It is also not possible to retrieve deleted messages from such a long time ago if the account still exists, sorry.

If you remember your password, you might still be able to access the old accounts. Try to log in and see what's there. I had an account I asked to be deleted three years ago because of excessive spam, but when I tried to log in a few months ago, it was still there, just inactive.
