How do i fix yahoo errror code: 44?

Time to go to G mail!! Come on Yahoo, get your SH..! Together!

The normal fix for 44 is to restart your computer. It means "an application has shut down this device". We often see weird error codes when Yahoo is working on the site. They have been working for over a week. We don't know when they will be done. Some users switch to a different browser even tho Yahoo is designed to work with all browsers.

I am having exactly the same problem. Yahoo is beginning to "suck". I wish they would fix this problem. Lose lots and lots and lots of time and can't do things I need to do. Can't believe it. Contacted customer support a month ago about the problem. now it is one month later and I still can't use Yahoo Mail correctly. Yahoo, please help!!!

Im Using Firefox 40 and have Win XPsp3. I had that issue too but After I repaired this in the Event Viewer ERROR 4226 Tcp ip has reached the security limits imposed on the number of concurrent Tcp connections I forget the site but Patch is EvIDPatch4226.... this is a automated Patch you can download and run to fix that error. THAT, seemed to have let me connect and Retrieve and View my Yahoo email after that. That allows 50 connections then. I hope that Helps!

I am having the same problem. I restarted my computer, I scanned for viruses. Nothing is letting me open my email. I call yahoo and it hangs up on me. I am so angry now.

Same situation. When you search it says I'm not using Internet Explorer.Wrong. I now have ver 11. I do use Avast and noticed some request by avast and problems seemed to start that day. Wonder ??

I experienced the same thing with error code 44. I have Avast..just wondering if it blocks Yahoo out.

we have a PAID yahoo account, cannot open emails sometimes days long and what does the support do? NOTHING!!!!! I don't know, are these guys idiots or just lazy, it's a mess!!!!! we will change to another provider and can recommend this strongly!!!!!
