Problem with Footnotes in Word for Mac?
-
When I insert a footnote in a Word for Mac document, the appearance is initially the way it typically appears in a PC Word document: a line separates the last line of text from the footnote. However, that presentation quickly changes. The separating line disappears, and the last line number (used in legal documents) is repeated in the position where the separating line would appear. I've tried re-doing the footnotes numerous times, but to no avail. Would appreciate any help anyone can offer here. Thanks.

Answer:
Which version of Word for Mac are you using. I tried to duplicate what you stated, but was unable to get the same problem. Everything is working fine for me. Maybe there is something else going on. .
