Whats wrong with my 93 lincoln?

93 Lincoln Continnental Brakes making rumbling noise?

  • I have a 93 Lincoln Continnental and recently the brakes started making a rumbling noise when i come to a stop, they do not squeak at all when I am going fast but right to the point of stopping it makes that noise? I have only had the car a year and never had any brake problems. If Anyone can help and how much would this problem cost to fix?? Is it easy to fix? How long can i go without taking care of it?

  • Answer:

If the front of the car shakes, then your rotors are warped. You either have them machined or replaced. Have someone check your brake calipers for looseness or binding. Check the slide pins to see that they do mo e smoothly. Get the appropriate repair book on your car to get the right info.

Well yes, it's an easy fix. You don't want to go with out the repair. I think you just need Brake Fluid. I think thats about $20 and it last a while.
