Pulled groin muscle or torn?

About 3 months ago I hurt the inside of the thigh. I assumed I pulled a muscle and that it would heal over time. It has only gotten worse. Now when I do something like a round off the muscle hurts so much that it make me sick to my stomach. I have never been in that much pain in my life. It hurts when my leg is just straight(even when laying down) Another thing is....it started at the top of my inner thigh and started to move down closer to the knee and is effecting my knee. Question 1: Is it a pulled muscle or something else? Question 2 If it is a torn muscle how long does that take to heal? Can the doctor give an injection to speed up the recovery time? I am going to the doctor tomorrow....any thoughts?

you'll probably be on crutches or you wont be allowed to do anything like that, for a torn muscle you'll need ALLOT of healing time and probably some physical therapy. and the same goes for a tendon except with a tendon that could also mean possible surgery try to ice it and heat it a few time for tonight. hope it gets better soon, and try to not stress the injury more all that does is make it worse.
