What happens with Delinquent Accounts on my credit report?

When old accounts drop off your credit report, does your credit score get any higher?

  • Its been almost 7yrs and i have 3 accounts that are going to drop off my credit report the end of Sep 2009, just wondering if & when that happens will that help my credit score? or will it stay the same?

  • Answer:

As the person before said you need to do something to improve your score. Basically it stays the same, but after a period of time those accounts will be eliminated. So in theory yes, but you have to use something that raises your credit limit. Then it will go up.
