How do I camp on Michigan State Land?

Can you build a camp fire on state land in Vermont?

  • Answer:

Take a propane stove or heat over a Sterno can. Alternatively, you can haul along a grill or fire pit for a small, contained fire. I.b. Fires and Firearms 1. In developed State Parks areas, fires are allowed only in fire rings, fireplaces or charcoal grills at designated picnic and camping areas. All fires must be attended and under control at all times.

No, most state lands do not allow campfires except in established campgrounds with fire wrings. Those that might will require you to obtain a campfire permit before you head into the wild lands. Bring a back packers stove and cook over that. You can actually make a soda can stove that burns alchol and heat up soup with that http://www.thesodacanstove.com/stove/

If it's little I'd say it's ok just make sure you have water for if it gets out of hand. Have fun!

while i'd normally agree with chris here, I live in Vermont (Saint Johnsbury), and I go camping in state parks about 4-5 times a year. As far as I've been aware, as long as you use safe fire practices you can build a fire. However, if you want to cook, then bring a stove, you'll reduce the risk of a large fire (its been dry and windy for the past week, perfect for forest fires), and it'll cook your soup faster. Good luck and happy trails!

I am pagan only in the sense that I am non-christian these days, but I do have great respect for the earth and the elements, as well as the cosmos and I believe in their existence to be godlike in and of itself. I feel that sex can be a spiritual experience if one opens themselves to it. I've seen my boyfriends aura go bright reddish pink, and other times I have felt like I was in another plane of existence during my ecstasy (not the drug). There is definitely a spiritual connection between two people's spirits when they engage in intercourse IF they are spiritually connected the rest of the time. I think if one opens themselves to the experience as a spiritual one, they may begin to realize aspects of the engagement which are very etheric. Many people are not spiritual. They have a spirit but do not feed it directly, and are therefore unaware that it exists, which would make sex a purely physical act, with possibly emotional aspects connected to it, in my opinion I know I'm probably not technically pagan by practicing Pagan standards, but I closely relate and always enjoy the Campfire Friday questions. Peace!
