My Mic is not working while using YM?

My mic is not working while im using YM for PC-PC Voip although i can clearly hear the voice of the other person. My laptop is running in Vista. I am currently in UAE. i am desperate since YM is the cheapest way to connect to my family back home.

I have been having the same problem for a while now (using XP). Nothing I did helped, so I now use Skype. I talk to my friends in India on it. Works great (sometimes there is a glitch). And it is free. Good Luck
