Why will my attachments not open in e-mails that are sent to me?

I know legality depends on where you live, but I was hoping if I could get at least an idea of what most countries (US/EU) tend to think. I saw a similar topic here: Is it illegal to read an e-mail that was accidentally sent to you? but that revolved...

The emails have been sent to many different carriers, and I've cc'ed my Yahoo! account on these emails as a precaution. The paper clip shows up in my Yahoo! Inbox and in the email, but there is no attachment. This is a new problem.

there is over 100 how do i get rid of some of these attachments and keep some as it is using up some memory on my pc can someone advise

Have added attachments to emails in the past but now I try to send an attachment and it just shows the little circle loading for about 20 minutes - or until I give up.

E mails from same person text only arrive in box ok but one with attachments go straight to trash

Sending emails with large attachments but under the 25MB limit gives confirmation it was sent but when I check the sent folder there is no record. Also for some reason these emails with larger attachments are being saved in the draft folder. Any feedback...

Yahoo mail automatically saves all of my attachments that were ever in any emails sent or recieved by me. How do I erase them if I want to. I am only seeing an option to save to my computer, No erase this file option or anything of the sort anywhere...
