Why will my attachments not open in e-mails that are sent to me?

Yahoo mail automatically saves all of my attachments that were ever in any emails sent or recieved by me.HELP?

  • Yahoo mail automatically saves all of my attachments that were ever in any emails sent or recieved by me. How do I erase them if I want to. I am only seeing an option to save to my computer, No erase this file option or anything of the sort anywhere. I even read the whole help section for yahoo mail and there is no reference to erasing any attachments.... HELP !

    Hi, Click on my attachments located on the left side of the inbox page. On the next page it will say search results and under that is a hyper link to message view this is where you delete the attachments. Hope this helps.

Go to "my photo's" and click "my attachments" check the ones you want to delete and click "delete". That is the only setting that has the delete option. I found it by trial and error...it works !
