Why do I sweat while sleeping?

do not mistake me i sweat then i have a nightmare not the other way around if i had a nightmare then started sweating it wouldnt be strange im just wondering if anywon esle experiences this ps. i also have gluten and lactose allergy

Are there any common problems people have associated with sweating profusely at night?  Not all the time, but occasionally, I will wake up with my boxers and t-shirt completely soaked in sweat.
