What is the towel trick?

my xbox 360 have gotten the e74 i keep on doing the towel trick ever 5 days i would do it agin a week later it did after 1 hour please tell me what will happend if i keep on doing the towel trick!!!!?????!!!!!

Does anybody know what this actually does to an Xbox? I understand it forces it to overheat. But what's happening inside the actual console?

I tried the towel trick on my Xbox 360 once. Now I regret doing it. what are the chances that my xbox will be premantly broken by using the towel trick once? I'm about to send it in to get it repaired

hello every one i was as usual doing the towel trick 1 day when it suddenly said e-74 and it wouldn't stop i kept on doing the towel trick and it wont i need ure help so plzzzz any one who knows the answer answer this question

My Xbox 360 got the E74 error a few days ago which totally pissed me off cause i wanted to play Der Riese tonight. So, I resorted the towel trick so i can at least play it for a little tonight. Thankfully it worked but I just want to know if I am supposed...
