Is 10K gold worth anything?

i've never actually wore 14k gold. and I would also like to know if I'm actually allergic to anything but 10k gold because all that happens is my ears itch just a tad and sometimes it turns a little red.

I know they send out forms for cash if you deposit over $10,000, but what about if you deposit checks? I know it sounds kind of shady, but I buy & sell gold & silver coins a lot (did not really make any profit but more as a hobby/collection)...

How much is 10k gold worth in grams retail? So for example if i have 35 grams of 10 karat gold how much would this retail for? If its easier how much would 1 gram of 10k gold be worth in amount of dollars?
