How To Check Vat Tin No?

Dear All, I recently got my VAT and CST TIN # done, however i noticed that when i check for my TIN # it shows one extra letter in my co. name. can anyone advice me on will it cause a problem? and how can the same be fixed? Thanking all you guys in advance...
